Personalising it
Add family names as engraving on the branches, or as cut lettering on a front layer. For cut names, use a font with connected letters so no parts fall out, and check the minimum letter size for your material. Engraved names should stay above about 3 mm tall to remain readable.
Assembly
Glue the layers from the back forward, using alignment pins through matching holes so everything lines up. Layered laser cut art covers spacing, colour and glue-up.
