Laser cut lamps and pendant lights, drawn for LED.
16 pendant lamp, chandelier and lantern designs that throw patterned light.
A laser cut lamp is two designs in one: the object in daylight and the pattern it throws when it is on. These pendant lamps, chandeliers and lanterns are drawn to balance open area and strength, so they light a room and hold their shape.
What is in this collection
Pendant lamps, wooden chandeliers, lanterns and candle-holder lamps, including curved designs and flat-pack shades. All come as SVG, DXF, CDR, AI, EPS and PDF.
Use LED bulbs only
Wooden shades are designed for LED bulbs, which run warm rather than hot. Leave clearance around the bulb, keep openings at the top and bottom for air, and use a proper lamp socket with strain relief. Designing laser cut lamps: light, heat and safety covers the details.
Cutting curved shades
Some shades bend using a cut pattern. If yours cracks when you bend it, the strips are too thin for your material or the plywood has voids — the living hinge guide explains how to fix it.
